It's just over 6 months until this years Hawkesbury Classic and although it may seem far away, its time for those considering entering the event this year to start planning. If you havent by now, you should have decided on the craft and have a training regime planned or inplace.

This year the committee has introduced a new competative class and its no surprise it's an Ocean Racing Ski class. Last year they trialled the class but as it was just a trial there were no records set. This year is a different story....maybe you can be the first to set the record for this new class.

The OR Ski division last year, was won by Damien Daley (DD3) in 8.27.48? He had to beat a lot of others skis to do this. Is this not recognised as a record?
Outright (UN1) was also won by an OR ski (Epic), Toby Hogbin in 8.18.19

G'day Owen,
The Ocean Racing Ski class was trialled last year and no "official" records were set.
The official race records are below.

This year it's there to be set........officially. Although the I'm told the tides aren't as favorable this year so the record may slower then DD's time.. Go figure!
