Repair Question was created by BomTurke
Reccently my pride and joy suffered a bad crack while on the roof of the car in very high winds. I've done plenty of repairs on slalom and river boats in the past but this will be the first time repairing a surski. Its a Fennix Spark in the Carbon Vaccum construction. On other kayak types I'd always do the bulk of the repair on the inside and then a cosmetic patch on the the outside. I'm debating cutting an access whole in the deck to allow repair from the inside but am worried that the Stinger will be in the way. Can anyone who is a bit more knowledgable advise if this is the case oir if there is a better way to go about it?

I've a few pictures attached of the loaction of the crack.

Cheers!

Being a carbon vacuum, should have a foam core, 1.5-2mm between internal and external skin. Sand into the area of the crack but not through the internal ski. Then repair with carbon as easy to sand and fill with fairing filler where needed to shape better. Then spray to finish (primer to better finish) . 2packs harder then 1k.
