V10 Sport: designed for overweight paddlers

Trying not to be offensive, but why is the Sport only offered with a seat pocket sized for an overweight person? Why the discrimination for those of us who are less endowed, but prefer the handling characteristics of the Sport? And no, I do not find a a system of padding an adequate fix.

Hi Bluesea.
I take it you are not here in South Africa ? Kayak Centre here in Durban SA who make Epic V10 under licence obviously saw this problem when they 1st started to make the V10s. They make to two cockpit types - the standard and a narrow version for women and for guys whose waist size is still less than their age!! It is approx 20cm narrower on both sides and makes a hugh difference. I have paddled both and it really helps stop your hips moving around in the seat. Seems the China versions don't have this option?
