The Cape Town New Balance Men's Health 2007 Peninsula Marathon turned out to be a classic event. 47km over two days in the most scenic of locations under warm and sunny African skies.
Less than 50 boats took on the challenge and at prize-giving it was the ladies that stole the show with impressive performances:
Doubles - 1st Junior and first ladies overall! - Bianca Beavitt and Jackie Barnes
Singles - 2nd Senior! (by seconds) - Donia Kamstra (1st on day one)
It was a great weekend of paddling, well done to all the competitors and organisers.
