there are a couple up there, i think they paddle out of doves bay, i have their emails somewhere...but locating could be the challenge

Hi tutukakapadler

I don't mean to hijack the thread but I was keen to find out about paddlers around whangarei, TUTs area , I'm currently in Auckland but moving up to whangarei in march. I'v been exploring the area most weekends mostly around ngunuru. it's been good fun, can't wait to get up there for good.

we out there heaps, surprised you haven't spotted us
head over hill from ngunguru on road to wellingtons, kowharewa bay
more the merrier, post match coffees snapper rock each sunday round lunchtime

Great we've some paddlers around northland.
What about up north, looking around Kerikeri, as week trainning, keep me post. Nobody around opito bay, matauri bay ?

Im just getting back in to the ski (pretty slow at the moment) but keen to paddle,I'm living in haruru falls,would be cool to paddle with somebody.

Great I will head out there in a few weeks.

but might see you at the northern crossing.... it will be my first crack at it.

I did the cycle during Easter and now I'm praying for a tail wind :P
