Epic rudder conduit repair

Hi all

Have an Epic V10 Sport (Ultra layup) which suffered a light drop onto grass (no damage to hull) but the rudder conduit near the seat has detached from its clips inside the hull.

Is there any way to repair this without opening the hull? It is not too detrimental and usually steers fine, but sometimes the loose conduit catches when steering left.

Cheers

Sounds like an old ski and the tubes have deteriorated. Should not hamper steering but will let water in. Basically you have to replace the tubes, They used polyurethane for a few skis, either because nylon was unavailable or for some other reason and it does not seem to like either the heat or the water.
I have a way to replace them without opening up the ski. Not sure were you are but if in Western Australia I can help.

Thanks Ranga, unfortunately I am on the Gold Coast but I have an idea of what you are meaning. I will give Epic Aus a call and see if they can also offer some guidance.
