The Glide is designed for flat conditions and it's obvious to look at - there's hardly any rocker on the boat.
But, speaking to Dawid Mocke and Tom Schilperoort (both of whom of course could make a dugout canoe look good), the Glide seems to go pretty well downwind too. Dawid reckons the stability is somewhere between the Elite and the Elite SL.
Both said that it "feels different", but didn't elaborate.
Tom came third in our Sunday series race here in super-hectic conditions, behind Dawid and Sean Rice.
