Surf Ski for long legs, wide seat

Hi All,

Im a 6ft 7, 108kg paddler, trying to find an advanced surfski.

I'm currently paddling a 18kg 43cm wide SLS Spec ski. The seat pinches a bit on my hips but is manageable.

I think the width issue rules out all fenns,
Uno max has a limit of a 105kg
V10 Sport , is it more of an intermediate boat?
The nelo xxl, is that the same as a L? Bit confusing on their website.
I do like the look of the Nordic Kayaks though.

Any info/advice/direction would be great.

Hi, Nelo XXL has a wider bucket and more volume in the hull to handle the extra weight. The bucket flares towards the top to accommodate wider hips, but with taper can accommodate wide range of paddlers and keeps you centered well. I have both 550 XXL and 560 XXL and work great. I’m 95kg, 36 inch inseam. I have plenty of room to extend footplate even more, maybe 2 inches? Can check if needed.

For reference I cannot fit (due to hip width) in any Fenns or Thinks. Just fit in V10G3 and V10S but only with summer shorts. Both the Epic foot plates are just about maxed out, but very doable.

I think I will try to get my hands on a 560xxl and get it a whirl. I have 37inch inseam, so hopefully will do the trick.
