Hi Guys
Hoping for some help. Is a flat water/marathon question.
I have been paddling a KR Swing 1 with a stiff shaft for a number of years. I like the feel and shape, but it's getting a bit long in the tooth and if I compare the weight to newer paddles ... I get very envious.
I have tried a couple of other paddles and haven't enjoyed them. Very quickly I realised I am heading into a dark and murky world.
Can somebody indicate/recommend the closest/most similar blade to the KR Swing 1 ( Epic/Braca/Jantex) .... this will save me a lot of trial and error time.

For what its worth, am 72kg, 5"11, and over 40 (just!)

From looking up information on the Krysna Swing I, it seems to be a similar size and shape to the Braca IV 705 the original teardrop shape.  You can get the EL version which is the lightest at 19.8 ounces, or some marginally heavier ones if you prefer.  I like the softer 19K shaft but you can get a stiffer shaft if you prefer.

Both Fastpaddler.com and Performance-kayak.com stock them.
