Paddled it twice - once here in Cape Town & once in Dubai.
It's slightly more twitchy than the Mako6.
Has less rocker - not sure how much less.
Slightly more volume in the tail.
Slightly narrower hull.
Bucket is a cm or two further aft.
Consensus of Dawid Mocke, Lewis Laughlin, Dean Gardiner:
- easier to maintain speed.
- easier to pull over waves going downwind.
I'm hoping to do a review in the New Year - Dawid was understandably reluctant to let me paddle his ski in the big downwinds just before the Cape Point Challenge! (Besides, I'm paddling a Red7 Surf70 Pro also, which is proving to be a very interesting ski! Review will be up in the New Year also. And we have a new V10 Sport Ultra to play with as well. Yippee!)
