Gold Coast - Shout out to Hope Island Paddlers

Hi All.

I am moving to Hope Island on the Gold Coast in July. I am an absolute beginner and keen to buy an EPIC V8 Pro to rip up the Broadwater and surrounds. Any advice from groups of paddlers in the area greatly appreciated.

If you've seen any of my posts you'll find I'm a huge fan of the Epic v8pro. I purchased one last August as my intro to the amazing world of surfski. It's a great entry level boat and I'm sure you'll love it. I immediately got into racing and I'm the only guy paddling a black tip entry level ski. I'm happy and will continue to learn and upgrade when I'm ready. Good luck!

I’m on the Goldie not far from Hope Island! Just get myself a Fenn ski. I’m keen to get out on the Broadwater if you’re still in the area and are padding.
