Tassie Paddling

Does anyone know if there are any events or paddlers keen for some sessions (I'll need to borrow a boat!) around the Launceston area in early Jan 2010?

I'll be down that way and if I want to do "The Doctor" I need to keep the km's up!! or it will be another tough day at the office
