tampa bay florida

I will be visiting the Tampa/St. Pete, Florida area and have heard of an offshore reef break that I would like to find. From what I understand, it is a reef or shallow shoal offshore (maybe 1/4-1/2 mile out??) that forms consistently good, long waves. Anybody heard of it?

I live here and if there was such a phenomenon I would be there. We have our times during these winter months but nothing I would call _consistent_. Very weather dependent.
