It appears that Nathan Baggaley and his brother have been arrested again - this time on even more serious drug related charges.

Olympic silver medalist and former ace surf ski paddler Nathan Baggaley was arrested on Monday evening, July 2, 2007, when he attempted to return a ski allegedly stolen earlier in the evening from Byron Bay Surf Life Saving Club.

FORMER world champion kayaker Nathan Baggaley has had his drug ban officially extended to two years and has been prevented from competing in today's Summer Series of Surf at North Burleigh, Queensland.

Baggaley originally was banned for 15 months from all sport by the Court of Arbitration for Sport after testing positive to two steroids, stanozolol and methandienone, in October 2005, and was planning to compete in today's surf ski race on the Gold Coast, as his featured comeback event.

(ABC.net.au) Australian kayaking champion and Byron Bay resident, Nathan Baggaley, says he has maintained his credibility despite receiving a 15 month ban for steroid use.

Last night the Court of Arbitration for Sport took into account Baggaley's explanation that he had mistakenly taken the steroids when he drank orange juice from a shared fridge.

Baggaley, who is an Olympic silver medallist, tested positive to the drugs in September.
