The Anchorman 2008 winner is: Dominic Henry of Mauritius.
Keen paddler!
I met Dominic two weeks ago during my trip to Mauritius to check out the proposed course for the 2009 Mauritius World Cup.
I can tell you that he's an ultra-keen paddler - he came with us when we paddled the 30km race route. I can also say that he needs to do some training before Dubai!!
Mauritius time is 3 hours ahead of South Africa so no doubt he is peacefully sleeping while I write this - we'll try to call him in the morning to find out how he feels about winning the biggest giveaway in the paddling world...
What has he won?
- Flights and accomodation for himself and a buddy (would that be his wife perchance?!)
- Awesome activities in Dubai - like snow skiing on the world's largest indoor slopes
