Yes, the Dubai Shamaal is on 2 December 2009. This is National Day in Dubai - a public holiday. The race will always be on 2 December.

A comprehensive race announcement will be up tonight...

The Abu Dhabi race is NOT on.

There's a good chance that it may come onto the calendar at a later date, but there is no race currently scheduled for Abu Dhabi.

has the organises confirmed the prize money details yet? with the global financial crisis will the race stil be as big as last year? these things have to be considered if flights ect are to be booked soon..

Slossy, from what I have heard the figure is down on last year but still significantly higher than any other race on the calendar. :P

No doubt the exact figure will be released by the race committee in the near future.
