yes there is a series run by Marine Surf Life club which has been sponsored by KIA over the last few years which starts in January (normally 2nd week in Jan) and then runs for the next 10 Fridays. Run on friday afteroons at 5:30 over 7-10 kms on an out and back course. Good fun and great way to start the season here in Durbs.
