Doctor 2013

I'm planning to do the doctor race in Perth next year. I live in Sydney so I'm wanting to know what do others do regarding transporting their own skis over or do you hire a ski in Perth. What about transporting your ski or the hired ski when your in Perth? How do interstate and overseas people get their skis to the ferry and transport them after the race and etc??? Getting a plane to Perth and finding accommodation seems very easy, organising the rest seems a lot harder. Thanks Rob

The information for the event is on our website www.oceanpaddler.com. Click on events then The Doctor. We have hire skis as do some of the main brands. Some of the brands do not supply hire skis so you will have to transport your skis. We also have this organized with a container leaving Sydney prior to the event. Cost for the return trip in this container will be about $250.
