I used a vacuum cleaner to suck through a length of sewing thread. It kept getting stuck near the end but it ended up working just fine. I had a lot harder time threading the new line through the little holes in the bracket in front of the pedals. A cold beer and some tunes makes the whole job a lot easier to take.
