seat comfort was created by robrien
I have recently purchased a epic v10 sport, I have got narrow bum and this was a chinese made epic (wide seat), it came with the hip pads which i currrently use with all three pieces of foam inserted. This makes the seat quite snug , I'm wondering if i should take out one of the foam layers to allow better hip rotation/leg drive as it feels compromised at the momement, though would i reduce my stability.
Also my hips get sore after long paddles with the three layers of foam in.

Lots of questions hopefully some answers out there.

I found that the best was to have just enough pads to touch your hips but not to so you struggle to get in. The pouches will come unglued if you have to squeeze in past them every time.

I like the seat and pad arrangement in the V10S and feel nicely centered in the boat when paddling in the rough.
