Advice - Double Surf Ski

Evening All. I am hoping you can help me decide what double surf ski we should buy next. We currently paddle the V8 Double, very stable, safe in big seas, poor at downwind, great in upwind, slow on flat. We have tried the V10 and it’s too unstable for our ability, the Fenn XTS feels better but the bucket seats are problematic for remount in heavier seas.

Any suggestions for a double ski that offers, more speed than V8, easy remount, surfs better than V8, easy bailer system.

Looking for next step up, doesn’t need to be a dramatic step up. Small steps.

I've been paddling the Carbonology Boost Double for a while. It's a fantastic boat - extremely stable, yet nimble on the waves, handles like a single.

We've not needed to remount it (yet) so I can't give direct feedback on how easy it is to remount, but man, I love that boat. Just did cracking 20km downwind in it:

Average speed 15.6kph including the slow last km to shore. Not a slow boat.

Do you have the 1st or 2nd generation v8 double? There was a redesign a few years ago to make it a better downwind boat.
