Dorado speed.

Hi, I have an old Dorado that I have been training with. I am hoping someone remembers the speed that they could get out of it so that I could set a goal. Would 10km/h over 10km be achievable?

I used to have a Dorado. Probably my favourite boat ever in terms of colour schemes. Each one unique and not just decals. On to speed, I am intermediate paddler (or maybe sub-intermediate compared to many on this forum) and I had no problem keeping speed over 10kph for extended periods. My guess is that it's similar speed to an XT, just heaps heavier by today's standards.

Thanks Ronbo, I’ll be looking for something newer once I hit the 10 for 10. Hopefully not too far away. I’m at just under 9 now..
