Nice - Juno was starting to whip up some nice waves! What was your air and water temperature?

Air temp, water temp, and wind were all in the 30s.

what epic is that? if you have paddled both, would you have felt ok in a v10 sport? (if you were in a v6 or v8 I mean)

as a new connecticutian its good to see some good sized waves relatively close by. the waves inside long island sound arent anything to get excited about but those looked fun. do we get good storms like this during the warm months?

Not an Epic - Fenn Mako6! The new Epic V10 is more stable. V10 Sport is much more stable.

There are good surfing spots all up and down Long Island
Sound, but you need a day with the wind at least 20mph, opposing current (west wind on a flood, east wind on an ebb), and a location where the current forms a tide race by flowing over a reef or bending around a point. I'll make a map indicating spots on the CT shoreline. Might be better to take if off this international forum, so email me at This email address is being protected from spambots.
