Next Ski

I am Currently paddling a Swordfish and looking to make a step up, I will retain the swordy as it is great ski. I am keen to here what paddlers have stepped up to and how they found the transition to a new ski.

Epic V10 to Epic V12 Now looking at either the V14 or Uno Max. Need to sit in the Uno to see how she feels.

There are two things that come to mind when replying to your question.

1. How comfortable you are sitting in said ski.

2. How she handles in the water you paddle.

To the V12 I found it fast and great in the ocean. In chop it liked to roll back and forth too easily tiring the core unnecessarily. Why I am looking at the other two. I like how in the V14 she catches secondary, no wishy washy. Eager to to sit in the Uno. Been paddling my V10 lately. I forgot how the V10 seat annoys my bumm. The V12 made long paddles very enjoyable but I sold it to make room for either the Uno or v14.

Just upgraded from my FLOW Superstar (similar to Swordy in terms of stability) to a Fenn Elite Glide.

I absolutely love the glide! It feels comfortable, stable and very fast. I came 2nd in a race on my 2nd paddle in it, and won a race the next day.

If you're keeping the Swordy, challenge yourself in a new V10, Ion or Hawx 46 (or 43). Everyone has their own transition challenges.
