From the sound of it, Sean Rice and Jasper Mocke broke away from the rest of the pack fairly early on but battled to make ground into each other given the clean, easy-to-ride waves.
But Rice, knowing that the last 3km would be a grind on the flat, saved some energy for the final stretch and put the hammer down, dropping Mocke.
Great performance (again) from the 23 year old world champ!
