Would this make your boat faster or slower? Would definitely cut the windchill if you coated your wetsuit with it.

It increases surface tension (water beading) and makes a surface slower through the water, though probably imperceptibly so.

Not sure what the needed product would weigh but shedding water from the topsides pfd and clothing may be useful.

Has anyone found this stuff outside the US?

I asked a national (Aust: Whitworths) marine products supplier but they had never heard of it.

I saw some reviews. People are dissappointed. Sounds like it makes a white flakey mess,doesnt cover much area, and doesnt last very long before wearing off.
