Does it stand to reason if you learn to paddle a lighter and tippyer boat (V12 elite) in flat to mildly choppy conditions it will help prepare you to stabilize a more stable and heavier boat (V10 Sport Ultra) in bigger conditions?
Conversely, if you spend most of your time in an extremely stable boat (V8 Performance) that takes very little effort or concentration to balance won't a tippier boat be nearly impossible to paddle in bigger conditions?
One more way to ask the question. If a guy can learn to paddle a K1 on his home, flat to slightly choppy, water would that be good preparation for paddling a V10 Sport Ultra on Maui?
