Freighting a ski from perth

Wondering if anyone has any good experiences transporting a ski from Perth to Victoria.

Eh, don't go sending them to Victoria, we need all the skis we can get in Perth to boost the 2nd hand market Pity you didnt ask a couple of weeks earlier, the Victorian Marathon paddling clubs had several trailers and containers here that you may have been able to get a ski on.

I have heard this question asked a few times often from Eastern States to Perth but have yet to hear of a reasonable option.

Davo, I have sent two skis to NSW in the last 7 months with no dramas...cost effectively too.

I wrap with three layers of bubble wrap, a layer of cardboard and then heat shrink.

Send Depot to Depot don't get it picked up or delivered the least times the freight company handles the ski the better.
