I paddle a c2 with a friend.it is a full carbon canoe. When it was made it ended up with a concave on the bottom of the hull of about 40mm over the length of the canoe which is 6500mm long. First question do you think it would effect the speed and by how much. Second question is if we putt it a baking oven with weights inside would it remove the bow if we allowed it to cool with the weights inside. I have been told if its reheated it will take its original form. I have removed quite big dents on other carbon fibre craft by gently heating them and watching them retake their original position.
