Epic skis?

Every V-12 I've seen, and one was delivered new in late 2011, have a black 2009 as the last numbers in the serial number on the stern.
Were all V-12s made in in 2009 or what does the 2009 refer to?

And the answer from Epic is: black 2009 numbers refer to the year the mold was made.
The three numbers preceding the "D" with the circle around it indicate the build year, i.e. 112 means the ski was built in 2011 (before August, I think) for the 2012 year.
212 indicates the ski was built in 2012 for the 2012 year.
That's not perfectly clear to me either but it pretty much answers my question about the black 2009 numbers.
Epic's production years run August to August for what that's worth.

I think that 90757D must refer to the amount of defects it had repaired before it was delivered to me.

Becoming a bit boring mate. keep it new. Keep it fresh. Sort it or move on.
Keep posting the good stuff man. Too much bad stuff in this world.
