Been reading about the Point 65 North ski, the Bourbon orca. Is it available in the USA? Cannot find one, anywhere. Likewise, i find no actually on water reviews. Anybody been on this ski? Looks different and I'm looking for some information

hard to find anything technically wrong with what your saying, but i'm struggling to find much substance to your argument.

Yes I paddled one on a 10km time trial. Conditions were pretty flat. Nice stable boat, rudder and other fittings poor quality, like really poor, as in new boat but broken on first paddle.

I would classify it as an intermediate boat, more stable than Fenn Elite or V12. Perhaps a bit like a Vajda Orca. Nice overall design but not very impressive build quality.

I doubt it would be good in open ocean conditions though, not much rocker, a bit like a V12. subjective though, I prefer the Fenn Elite, SL or Sharpski shape in bigger surf, they seem to pick up the runs better. Perhaps also because I am not very heavy which I understand may suit the likes of a V12 more.

I think you will find better boats out there.

Thanks, all.
I had thought this would be some incredible revolutionary ski after reading the makers info and seeing pictures.

Looks like I'll stick with proven ski.
