New to this, need help.

Hi,
I am brand new to surfskis as I have only watched in awe as they sped past me while I paddleboard or kayak. I really want to buy a used one but have no idea on size, width ect.. I am 6' and 190lbs and want to be as stable as possible while learning, I also could use some help on choosing a paddle. If anyone has the time please let me know what you think and you all have a great day.

If you have no experience at all, go and buy a Fenn XT. They are simply the most stable boat and have good resale when it's time to sell. Any winged paddle, preferably adjustable from 2.08 metres to 2.14 metres. Go to a ski shop and ask advice.
ps buy a boat leash while you are there.
pps expect to fall off a lot. Everyone does when they start.

Agree above. You must ask for help either from an experienced paddler or a shop to ensure you get the right leg length,paddle length, size, angle etc etc.
