Short Paddlers Surfskis ?

It's been 20+ years - and with all the technology out there, I am a little surprised to see how difficult it is to find a surfski specifically designed for shorter paddlers.

Surely, I am not the only vertically-challenged paddler, or am I?
Any thoughts on different available Surfskis would be greatly appreciated.

Experience Level: High, 20+ years, but looking for Intermediate / Advanced ski
Previous skis: Chalupsky, Predator (both made by Twogood Kayaks)

Perhaps the "so called perfect candidate" would be 5m90, huge rocker, shallow bucket, etc…

If you have paddled such a ski, I would really like to hear from you.

Fenn Elite Spark?

I have not tried many boats but really like the Carbonolgy Vault - an intermediate ski but it is fast and surfs well. At my stage it is still faster in rough water than an elite level ski

The Nelo Ocean Ski in size M would fit you perfectly. It's fast and lightweight, i.e. in E construction it weighs about 10.2kg. Where do you live? I have a like new one for sale as I'm too tall for it at 6' 2".

I am in France (Brittany coast to be exact) - Don't you feel that the Nelo M is more designed for more weight that 50kg ?

Shipping to France from Seattle would be prohibitive but your height and weight is exactly what it is designed for.

My wife @ 51Kg and 154cm paddles a Stellar SES in Excel layup (11Kg). Fits her well and being narrow and light, she can handle it in and out of the water ok.
The new Epic V10L would also be ideal for her (and you).
