I saw this on the web this week.

It looks like an ebook on Surf Skiing by Daminan Papworth.

Has anyone had a chance to read this? Is it any good?

Not read that one, but also look out for the soon to be released "Surfski with the Pro's" by Dawid & Nikki Mocke in conjunction with Kevin Brunette...

I did.... a little disappointing for anyone other than an absolute beginner. Priced steeply for what it is...

Thanks for the feedback. I had a feeling it probably contained a lot of fluff. I read some of of the sample excerpts on the web and I didn't see anything of substance.

I don't mind getting books to help me learn, on condition that they are priced right. No such thing in my mind as too much information.

However, I believe that good coaches are worth their weight in gold, as they are usually there to push you to paddle out of your comfort zone, as well as helping you set targets for each training session.

That looks like it's for Lifesaving Surfski - In and Out stuff not LD so depends on what you looking to do.

I have always found that even the top guys are very approachable and if you just ask for tips / help on methods / technique any more experienced paddled will gladly take 5 minutes to point you in the right direction and assist with your setup etc.
