Paddling Shorts

Looking for a pair of quality paddling shorts that don't cause skin chaffing along the seam lines. This happens along the rear waistband area on the small of my back. Very annoying while paddling! Any suggestions?? Thanks

Mocke paddling shorts are what you need - order them from The Paddling Centre. They are a double skin design and have no seams at all where you touch the boat. The price and quality are fantastic and they last forever. I am in NZ and they posted them to me real fast - great service.

I`ve got paddling shorts from Palm, My Kayak Coach and some Japanese makers. All of them are fine on me. You could try covering the seam by tucking a rash vest in the back, but it might also be worth checking your seating position - just in case that`s the reason, rather than the shorts. Just saying.

My Kayak Coach shorts, all I have used for 3 years now, they're unreal.

I use these and have never been rash ridden or anything, they are from JL Racing. They make paddling shorts for crew teams. The nice thing about these is that they have a little higher back to them, so that your crack isn't sticking out when your bent over or sitting in your ski paddling.
