Restoring Boat Finish

I have recently purchased an old kayak that has seen a fair bit of sun which has faded the colour somewhat.

Is it possible to restore the colour and if so does anyone have any suggestions on how to restore the finish of a boat after years of sunshine?

Try Lanoguard or similar. The spray on works well on boats and caravans. Can't see why it wouldn't work on a ski.

Yes ,gently wet rub it using fine paper 800maybe -1200 grit to remove sunburnt gelcoat and then polish out the finish (it will be dull all over) from the "sanding" ,you need to be very motivated to do this on an older boat !!!
