Mocke PDF's in Sydney

Guys,

Does anyone know where I can get hold of a Mocke PDF in Sydney?

I find the ones available here hotter and no where near as uncomfortable.

Or is it better both pri ce wise and timewise to ship one in from SA etc?

I tried to order one from the guy who says he is the Australian distributor, he had no stock so I ordered from the US. It worked out about the same including the freight, about $170. They're not compliant in Australia so I think it's only a matter of time before you won't be allowed to use them in the Ocean races, but they're bloody comfortable to paddle in!

Got mine directly from the Paddling Centre in SA, delivery time was about a week and price was more than competitive. If you want one now that's similar, see Dean/Yanda at Oceanpaddler.
Re. compliance, according to NSW Maritime, surfski paddlers are not required to wear a PFD (1,2 or 3). So unless organisers impose a specific Aust Standards compliance PFD requirement this isn't an issue.
