Anybody else have trouble with Vaikobi zippers? I've got a V4 (the front zipper variety), and while the main zipper hasn't given me any trouble, the two pocket zippers have both come apart--the first jammed, then when I tried working it back and forth to get the fabric out of the shuttle, the shuttle just came off on both sides, and has refused to go back on. Two days ago, the other pocket zipper also jammed, down at the bottom of its track. I couldn't see any fabric caught in the thing, and inevitably when I tried to work it loose the shuttle came off the teeth on the stuck side and refused to get back on its track. Since this is my second Vaikobi pfd, I feel like I have a reasonable amount of experience putting iffy zippers back together and shouldn't be defeated this easily.
Is the a quality-control thing common to all their pfds, or am I just unlucky? I could try to get them to exchange it, but I would really like to be able to put my keys and phone in the pockets and just go boating without spending half an hour fixing a zipper every third trip. Am I the only victim of the Vaikobi zipper curse?
