Hi Robert, I spoke to Keith this afternoon - he said that they have begun production of blades again but at a fairly slow rate.

I don't know where you are but I suspect it will be a while before your supplier gets his hands on more blades.

But they're on the way!

Could somebody comment on foam sandwich vs plain glass blades?

I've got a Werner Stikine (form sandwich) that I use for wave ski surfing and like it's durability (it's sold as a creeking paddle - you can jam it into the bottom with less probability of traumatizing the blade) and hand-friendliness (the edges of the blade are rounded and smooth - not sharp)

Unfortunately, Stikines are not wing paddles.

With wing paddles, I get the idea that foam core construction if associated with light weight instead of added durability.

Have I got it right?
