I have a Fenn 4 (Bratcha shape, mid) and a Fenn 1 (Lettman shape, mid) I started with the Fenn 1 because it was a very forgiving paddle to learn with and have since moved to the Fenn 4. Both paddles are of excellent quality at a great price. I've been very happy with both of them. I'm a 200 lb paddler and I prefer the feel of the Fenn 4's stronger catch. It seems to have a slightly larger blade than the Epic Mids that I've seen. The Lettman (Fenn 1) has a less strong catch and seems to be easier on the body. Both are good paddles depending on which style you prefer.
