I've searched through these firums and although I'm sure this has been answered before i cant find it for the life of me.

Where can I buy the heavy duty white contact to put on both sides if the ski near the catch to stop any marks when the paddle hits the ski?

Cheers

Hi
If you use the protective film to be used on car bumpers it is close to invisible and lasts forever. It is abt 4 inches wide, plyable and heavy duty.

Hi Shady

There is a clear tape used by a number of paddlers called helicopter tape, just Google it and you should be able to get a supplier in your area, if not I know of one at Seven Hills.

Good luck on the weekend Shady it's going to be good weather so you shouldn't have any problems.

At the start keep to the right hand side of the river for the first 2km, they have been doing a lot of weed harvesting, getting rid of noxious weeds, so there is a lot of free weed floating about mostly on the left hand side of the river so keep to the right.

Thanks for thewishes Tom and I'll take your advice of sticking to the right.
Hopefully my weedless rudder arrives before the race which should help matters but I'll still be installing the weed guard anyway.

With regards to the canoe number holder, Can I take you up on your offer of purchasing one from paddle NSW?
It may be a little late so if its too much hassle I'll sort something out.

Cheers
Darren

I justheard that Lyle will have a couple available on the day and others will be selling the stick on ones so it looks like I'm all good.
