Drift Socks

Anyone try or experimented with a drift sock?

I figure in a windy situation, your boat will be anchor to the water instead of being blown away. It will slow down the ski for retrieval by a paddling partner. It probably has little use in surf, wave, or current.

What's your thought?

It would also be fantastic resistance training

If you're worried about your ski blowing away, the tried and tested solution is to use a paddle leash.
