how it's look like a venturi?

My surfski has this strange thing, the hole is just a centimeter wide, looks like a black gummy tube covered with pvc. What can I do to restore it ?

The big blue bit creates vacuum behind it, this in turn will help draw water from the footwell down the small opening. (google "bullet scupper" and look at images to see a flow illustration)

You can order new Venturis from Huki that will fit any ski. Probably won't look that nice though.

My horrible Venturi is leaking , I would like to repair it. The shop here repairs only fiberglass boats, so I need advice on how can be repaired the easy way.
the Venturi was covered by a PVC pipe, I removed it.
It looks like they inserted a PVC white tube, bonded with resin, I can't remove it, the black plastic thing is inserted in the pvc white tube.



Mi idea is to cut the exceeding part of the white pvc tube, then fill all with epoxy, then drill a 8mm hole in both part.

What ski is it?
Looks similar to an Epic but Epic do not use Kevlar Carbon weave on the hull. Epic ventury is also straight, has no turns in the tube, the tube is an injection molded tube.
My suggestion is to remove everything that has been done and start again.

It's a copy of a V10Sport (old version) made in Hungary.
Is it kevlar carbon the hull material?

Sorry mate, cannot help you on this one. Get hold of the manufacturer and ask them.
However any composite repairer should be able to repair this sort of thing. Fiberglass is no different to work with than any other material such as carbon or Kevlar, that being said if your guy seems to think he only works with fiberglass maybe he is not the person to let loose on anything you own, especially a ski!
