had a good look at this new ski at KOTC race on the sunshine coast recently!
seemed appealing other than a horrid looking oversized front end.
will be interesting to see if it evolves from this stage?
would also love to support local australian manufactured ski for a number of reasons including after sales repairs / maintenance.........this is where most car / watch companies seem to make there money?
however, there appears to be a reluctance in australia to design, develop & manufacture ocean skis to compete with overseas supply?
construction costs are not a valid excuse as local spec ski layups sell for similar prices to overseas ocean skis.
appears to be a real gap in the market for an aussie company with strong brand integrity to develop a range of ocean skis for elite, intermediate & beginner paddlers!!
the sport of ocean paddling is growing quickly, but no one is stepping up as yet to grasp this new growth edge of ski demand in australia..............
australia definitely has the market & the expertise!
