Hello guys,

How can you remove salt deposits on the aluminum part of the pedal because the Epic (my 3rd) salt "eats " the trolleys on which is fixed footrests carbon; happens in just months Yet I rinse properly after each use this one!
Do you know a product or a way to remove the deposit of salt before it attacks aluminum because I'll sell it and I clean it?

Thank you

Do you mean the little right angle brackets?
Because the rest of it is all carbon, maybe nyon66 for the pedal axles and the rails are anodised.

If so, they look OK on mine, and I have not heard of a problem.
Please expand on your description.

is the truck (slightly brown then black) that fits on the track (rail), take off the strap and the two pieces of stainless steel angles to show below, it is here that the salt corrodes the metal!
Epic on my first after six months I had cracks 1 mm deep, so I looked on my 2nd purchase ski Epic and two months after it was already the same problem.
For information, I use my skis every day and rinsed after every ride!

I know what he is talking about - I think. I have this corrosion problem too. I bought my Mako6 second hand and it had this. I wash it after every session - about 5 times a week - but the damage is done.
(I have pictures - but seem to battle with the technology)

NEED TO DISSOLVE/ SOFTEN SALT DEPOSITS WITH FRESH WATER, TRY RUB AWAY WITH AN OLD TOOTHBRUSH, THEN TRY SILICONE SPRAY. :)

Alloy corrosion is white but its not salt www.ehow.com/how_14455_remove-corrosion-aluminum.html
you need to know if the buildup is on Gelcoat (laminate), stainless steel , Aluminuim or plastic etc

I've had success with baking soda and hot water to remove the build up on the rudder posts on our club boats.
The baking soda eats the salt build ups fairly well.
Requires a bit of work with a tooth brush, but is minimal
