Hi,

There is a 2nd hand market up here in Dubai and the UAE. But as Colin has said in the previous post, it all depends on what you are looking for.

Essentially there are two importers of skis, myself with Epic and Rob Klok with Fenn. We bothkeep an eye on the second hand market and often have a smaller number of demo skis available at reduced prices.

But it is dependent on what you are after. There are quite a few older beginner Fenn's such as the XT available as paddlers upgrade to faster skis. But there are also occassionally more advanced skis that come onto the market as expats move on and out of Dubai.

You can check out www.dskc.net which has a For Sale forum that is occassionally used. Also the Club noticeboards are a great resource for people advertising skis for sale.

Alternatively, feel free to contact me - I am listed on www.dskc.net under Contacts.

Regards
Ian Kingon

As Ian mentioned, there are usually a few XT`s and Mako 6s on the market, in both glass and carbon, Elites and Epics do come up from time to time but not in great numbers.

Our for sale section on the DSKC website is pretty dead, the notice board as DSKC and word of mouth is your best option.

Drop in when you arrive and we will see what is going at the time, getting you on the water should`nt take to long.

Otherwise if you are after a new ski, contact either Ian or Rob.
