DIY kayak ergometer

Hi everyone. My name is Chris and I got into surfskis last year and wanted a kayak ergometer to train with but couldn't afford one. I have made one from a waterrower but it could be made from scratch relatively easily also. Would anyone be interested in plans? Would be $30 AUD. DO NOT NEED THE USUAL SKI MACHINE.
