X-mas is coming and the new camera from Garmin looks tempting. Being compatible with the ant+ sensors and having the built-in gps it would be easy to add hr, speed, etc on the videos. I understood there is an adapter to GoPro mounts as well.

Anyone with hands-on experiece?

First red flag for me is the IPX7 (1 meter for 30 min) waterproof rating. That's not even close to being waterproof enough. Everything i have ever had with that waterproof level has died a watery death. including two different Gamin devices.

GoPro still looks better I think

Plus the waterproofing issues.
GPS telemetry can be added in post processing anyway, having it in the one unit really just makes it easier to synch the timing.
