I was wondering, has anyone come across a type of wax or other preparation to improve the hull speed by reducing drag? I know some racing yachts use a teflon coating which seems to provide improved performance. Any ideas? I remember from my dinghy sailing days that we would lightly sand the gelcoat with 400 wet paper but a bit reluctant to try this on my ski.
