Looking at Seabreeze (at lunchtime on 1/6) Tuesday 5th June looks good here in Sydney; we may get the downwind ride of the year!

Yeap I know it's early, i.e. days away, but we can still dream; it may happen. May be able to break my 29kph downwave speed record on a run from Long Reef to Palmy?

Maybe medium wednesday, then.

I heard that Guy leech took out a group of 20 and they all got smashed by a Huge wave off Balmoral which busted quite a few skis and led to one big recovery session. Thursday may be perfect size.

A check at mona vale basin this morning showed that it wasn't a suitable landing place. So we did consider Shelley beach to long reef, but ater in the afternoon as the wind was too high early.

In the end we didn't go out mainly due to the fact that if it did go pear shaped it wasn't fair on some rescue volunteer laying his well being down for someone like me. Every now and again I think I'll do the right thing.
